Heifers were good to handle in and through the crush and settled well in the yard for photos etc although a little bothered by the buffalo fly present. 7 heifers noted as slightly stirry exited the crush a little faster. They are worked using Low Stress Stock Handling techniques and are used to being grazed in single wire grazing cells.

Assessor Comments
PTIC Angus and Angus cross heifers, medium to large frame. Good to Very Good quality with 4 heifers Fair quality, they represent a good opportunity to a breeder. Joined to a Burenda Angus bull and pregnancy tested 2-4 months in calf. Active buffalo fly was noted on the heifers, resulting in some chafing around the eyes. These heifers have been run in a cell grazing operation and are familiar with electric fences. Buyers please note OLM has a further 55 PTIC heifers in this sale quite close by would be able to put together a solid 3 decks.
