Cattle were overall good to handle in the crush and yards with 11 head moderately nervous in and exiting the crush and six head highly agitated. They were most unsettled when they were waiting to be let into the crush and most stood quietly while being preg tested. They settled nicely for photos and videos. The cattle are accustomed to bikes and electric fences but not horses or dogs.

A mostly good to very good quality line of Angus and Angus x PTIC heifers. They are mostly medium to large frame and had a LWR at assessment of 300 - 447 kg after an 18 hour dry curfew. They are vet preg tested in calf to Hazeldean Angus bulls which are all heifer suitable with low EBV's for birth weight. Their full EBV's are available via the Angus Australia website using the bull registration ID's listed. The months in calf were: 10 head x 2 months, 5 head x 3M, 14 x 4 months, 26 x 5 months. The months in calf and their EID is available post sale for buyers if required to split the heifers into calving mobs. The heifers are principally Hazeldean bloodlines with the small amount of cross coming from some Hazeldean Senegus bullls that were used for a small amount of time about 10 years ago. Buffalo fly was present on the heifers with one heifer with bite/rub marks on neck. Three heifers noted with slight BE scaring in one eye. Note 1 deck of PTIC Hfrs located nearby to a B Double.
