Generally quiet in yards, odd heifer stirred up when in the crush. Generally not a problem. I assisted the owner to bring the heifers to the yards on bikes, they were not a problem to handle.

A good line of crossbred heifers, PTIC to Angus Bulls (13 head 2 - 4 months (feather banged), 71 head a tight 4 - 6 months, Bang tailed.) weighed 345 to 572 kgs to average 451 kgs 18 hours off feed. Heifers are in fresh forward condition and have grown out well on soft Buffel country. These are the softer flatback types (see videos) but are good quality and would make ideal replacement heifers for anyone looking to expand their herd. They were all easy to handle in the yards although a few typically stirred up in the crush getting preg tested. The heifers present fresh in the coat and are in good healthy condition going forward. Vendor will load comfortable decks.
