Heifers have been good to handle in the paddock. They were very good to draft and weigh. One heifer was very protective of her calf but no aggression to stockmen. Video should show temperament well.

Assessor Comments
Presenting a usefull line of Angus Santa cross heifers with their first calf at foot and running back with Clunie Range Angus bulls for the last 10 weeks. These heifers are predominantly one mark and are doing a nice job on fresh calves which are 3 to 6 months of age. They were good to handle both in the paddock and yards. Two heifers noticed with slightly cloudy eye. There are 5 red calves and 12 black calves. One calf has not done as well as the others and vendor is giving a $1000 rebate on one unit (please see pics) The heifers are genuine ages as mouthing confirmed. Bulls were introduced in March and taken out at assessment. These heifers display more frame than weight suggests as the calves are now taking everything they can get. They averaged 454 kg's after 2 hrs in yards. Calves averaged 145 kg's. The good feed plain should support a normal joining with the bulls introduced. Potential 3 in 1 units with all their breeding ahead.
