Temperament of these cattle is excellent. The whole weighing and assessing process in strange yards with a lot of strange faces went off without a hitch. The cattle had a lot of handling when in the South and although now running on Station country they are still very well mannered.

Assessor Comments
Part of an unusual offering of over 480 Top quality Angus Heifers and calves which has come about due to the impact of the Northern Floods late last year. Cattle could not be moved, calves could not be marked etc.. These Heifers were bred in Western Victoria and trucked to Carinda on agistment approx,. 12 Mths ago. as Spring Calvers. A few Heifers calved early and there are about 10% older calves in the mob. Calves are all by Te Mania Bulls and the quality of breeding should be reflected in the photos & videos. This unforeseen sale presents opportunity. Please call Don Bowman to discuss further. Difficult to describe fully in a few paragraphs. Please note 6 cows had old pinkeye blemishes and 1 cow had old pinkeye blemishes in both eyes but seem to still see ok also 1 cow has a birthmark on its muzzle 5 calves have old pinkeye blemishes 2 were treated for pink eye the day of assessment 1 calf has a deformed eye and 1 calf has a twisted nose.
