These cows moved through the yards freely during the assessment process. A few cows became agitated in the crush but calmed immediately when returned to the mob. The cattle are a pleasure to handle, which is a credit to the vendor.

Assessor Comments
The Tunbridge Wells herd dispersal is solely due to the cessation of the lease with Cadia Valley Operations. Tunbridge Wells have 13.5 years of selected breeding starting with the purchase of 120 Angus cows and calves from Chesterfield Angus at Heywood, VIC. If you haven't heard of Tunbridge Wells, you haven't attended the CTLX Blue Ribbon Weaner sale where their calves have won the best presented pen of steers or heifers on numerous occasions. The average of $2347 (with no calves retained) at this years sale is a testament to the quality of these breeders. All Angus heifers were purchased by restockers to join, the same was the case last year. Truly a great opportunity to purchase some of the most outstanding cows bred in the Central Tablelands. The oldest cows offered comprised 21 head of which there are 15 "G" 2011 age group cows and 6 "F" 2010 age group cows. Joined for 8 weeks to commence calving on the 5th of July these cows are sound in structure and have stood the test of time.
