Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The heifers were very good to draft and process. Nothing looked aggressive or agitated. This also made for easy mothering. Several heifers resented being mouthed but that was as agitated as they got.

Assessor Comments
Presenting a very nice line of 3 in one units with youth on their side and a good start with the calves. Good quality heifers presenting in forward condition with their 1st calf at foot and having been preg tested back in calf to Hazeldean and Kidman Angus bulls. One heifer is more forward in calf than the rest and was not tagged (to be identified). The calves are fresh and averaging 213 kgs. There is one extra calf a bit drier which the vendors think lost its mother. We found 4 older heifers (6 tooth) when assessing but the majority are 2 tooth. Approx 3 calves were treated for pink eye at assessment so could be slight scarring. These units provide a nice opportunity to build herd numbers or start with some quality with all the hard work done. The calves have been marked. I noticed 2 heifers with some cloudiness in one eye, not affecting their performance.

Vendor Comments
Originally joined to increase herd size but calvings better than expected so only offering these to give other herds a chance as weather has compromised some feed paddocks.
