Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows were generally very good to handle in all areas of the yards. A couple of cows do tend to trot a bit out in the cooler. There were a few that did react negatively in the crush. This may be a result of being in hand for the past few days and the experience of being preg tested etc. Generally a line without any major temperament issues. Buyer requested to allow cows sufficient time to settle on arrival before showing them the gate.

Assessor Comments
A deck load of mainly medium to large framed cows that have presented in store to forward store condition. These cows are in their breeding prime and will allow restockers an avenue into the Angus industry. These cows are located adjacent to the main Toowoomba Brisbane road and as such there are certainly every opportunity to organise a backload either west or south for these cows. The cows have had all their animal health inputs completed on an annual basis and are up to date with Lepto and 7 in 1. Cows were also inoculated with 3 germ blood coming from Roma to Gatton in December 2020. Did also note approx. 4 cows with old buffalo fly rub on the neck, no issues here though. Also noted about 5 cows with a varying amount of old blue eye scarring, didn't seem to affect their sight though. Weaners off these cows were sold in Toowoomba (Monday 4th April). The steer portion weighed 273kgs making 720c/kg and the heifers weighed 255kgs and fetched 644c/kg.
