Cows were ok to handle when first drafting. Once calves were taken off to mother cows became more agitated. After working cows back and forth mothering calves some cows heated up and became less easy to handle on their own. No cows were noted to come at you when singled out even after being heated up. Cows were drafted through round yard on foot with not much fuss with little pressure put on them in smaller, less bunched up numbers. If cows were to be pressured heavily they may stir up more.

A mob of composite type cows and calves with frame and weight to value add to if given the feed. Calves are majority Charolais cross types that would grow in to good weighty weaners for a quick return. These cows have been running back continuously to Mandalong Special bulls. These will give good type, early maturing euro type cross calves. Calves at foot were marked at assessment. Cow with visibly oldest head that also had no age brand was mouthed showing good sound mouth. *Note* Very odd cow with capped hip & 1 smaller framed Droughtmaster/Santa type cow were observed.
