Assessor Comments
A mostly medium framed mob of store condition heifers with calves at foot, that have been running back to the same Wynella Angus bulls they calved to. The heifers are moved every day, and were taken away from the yards up a laneway made with a single hot wire, with other cattle next to them, with no problem. Given this handling, the calves were very calm around strangers, and the heifers were looking for the vendor to take them away. The cattle, like many in the state, have experienced a very wet time, and with the hair flying out of them, should improve very quickly in the warmer weather. The heifers calved unassisted. There are a couple of heifers in this lot with white around the udder, and one with white on the underline that extends to the navel. The vendor is also offering in the same catalogue, 28 by 28 similar heifers and calves, and 17 PTIC heifers. Please be aware that it is 3 weeks since assessment, cattle will be inspected at delivery to assure no change to description.
