Cattle handled extremely well and the process of weighing and assessing could not have gone better. Although running in big paddocks now, these cattle were weaned and educated in Victoria in smaller mobs and are well used to trucking. Next to quality of breeding, temperament is one of the key features of these cattle.

Part of over 480 Top quality Angus Heifers with Te Mania bred calves at foot being offered by the Johns Family. Running on agistment at Carinda for nearly 12 Months, these cattle were to be sold last year but climatic conditions upset the plans. Floodwaters wrecked fencing and made yarding and trucking impossible. Calves were unable to be marked due to the flooding issues and the earlier drop calves have plenty of size with 6 over 400Kg. 12 Surplus calves in the mob are either Twins or lost their Mother . The Vendor has always purchased the best bred Angus heifers from the South for his operation and the quality of these cattle should be apparent in the Photos and Videos. This unusual sale has arisen due to unforeseen weather conditions and will be of interest to anybody looking for big numbers of young, top quality Angus Females. Workout the bonus with the extra calves. One calf was treated for pink eye the day of assessment.

Although predominantly Spring Calvers, some Hfrs dropped calves soon after arriving at Carinda and due to the flooding these bigger calves remain unmarked. The 12 surplus calves without mothers are older calves with 6 over 400Kg.
