Assessor Comments
A Rare and great opportunity to secure a line of very well bred EU Angus PTIC heifers that come from a breeding program of over 40 years in the business. The Raftety family pride them selves in breeding Quality cattle that consistently meet the needs of feedlots and processors. Heifers are bred from a large framed quality cow herd of Quality New England Genetics including Wattle Top, Glenavon, Eastern Plains & Glen Morgan angus. Seasonal conditions coming into winter see's a regrettable sale of these future breeders, heifers are on the lighter of where they should be but given he right conditions after calving they will continue to grow into large frame female consistent with Javor herd as I don't believe they have been checked through their growing stages, Heifers had great conception rates showing great fertility. The valve is in the genetics of these heifers, only two weeks ago the Javor steer weaners toped the A + market making 485 cents at 319 kg. Calving July onwards to LBW bulls

Vendor Comments
lack of rain over the spring and summer months left us with a pretty tough season & a forced discission to sell , heifers will continue to grow given the right feed as they haven't been checked but are lighter than usual due to seasonal conditions.
