Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Nice quiet heifers that worked through the yards very well. Only five heifers were a little bit harder to handle in the race/crush but quiet in the bigger yard. They responded very well to the dog when we let them out of the yards and blocked up very easily. Potentially odd one could become stirry if isolated but if they are handled in a quiet manner it won't be an issue.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, an attractive line of EU ACCREDITED 1st calf heifers that are all PTIC to the Wagyu bull. A bit of a spread on the calving, however the Wagyu job is flying at present so an investment for the future awaits most restockers here. All were vet tested back on 27th April from 6 weeks to 6 months however some of the non-dectectably pregnant heifers from that date were retested on 9th June and 7 were found to be in calf. That would mean the mob would range from about 6 weeks to about 7.5 months. Vet stated most were 3-5 months back in April so should now be 4.5 to 6.5 months. The heifers are in good forward store condition and should have no major problems calving to the Wagyu bull. Please note there are 2 lots all up in the sale and if all purchased by the same buyer would amount to a light B-Double. Please also find attached the details of the Wagyu bull used over these heifers. Noted 1 heifer with warts around one eye, not an issue.

Vendor Comments
There were 16 heifers tested non detectable on 27th April and these were retested on 9th June and a further 7 were found to be in the early stages of pregnancy. So in actual fact heifers would range from about 6 weeks to 7.5 months at assessment.
