Cows are right, buyers note there are a few young calves that will need to be spelled at reasonable intervals.

Heifers handled safely through yards, however it was very wet at assessment and they where reluctant to flow through the yards due to the weather. Overall they handled well with only a few stirring up in the crush but settling once back in the mob.

Assessor Comments
Buyers here a great opportunity to secure heifers on their first calf, with 18 PTIC 1-3 Months to Angus sires ( Clunie range & Moola Creek ) & heifers visibly cycling at assessment these show a great opportunity to buy front paddock cattle. On assessment these heifers where sound in the feet, udders, hips and eyes. These great young breeders are doing a great job on their calves and still growing themselves. The fact that there is already a strong percentage back in calf, along with a very good lead in the calves these units represent a great opportunity to restockers. None of the calves are marked. A heifer calf has a lump on middle of back that appears to be possibly a abscess from a thorn, see photos so you are aware. This is a neat line of cows & calves, I highly recommend these cattle.
