All very quiet in yards. The owner had no problem yarding the cows with bikes & horses, they are excellent to handle.

A quality line of 45 Cows, (3 decks) 7-12 years, weighed 540 to 778kgs to average 646kgs 24 hours off feed. The 47 calves weighed 51 to 167kgs to average 116kgs. Cows are in forward to fat condition and are doing a great job on the calves at foot. They were all easy to handle through the yards. (One Murray Grey Cow is feeding 3 calves). The cows are all medium to large frame - relevant to their breed. The perfect line to continue through to weaning and then expect another Angus x calf going forward.
