These heifers moved freely and calmly around the yards throughout the assessment process. Low stress stock handling practices are routinely used by the vendor and the benefits can be seen in the cattle. A few heifers became agitated when being mouthed but calmed when out of the crush

Assessor Comments
A quality line of Angus heifers PTIC to high indexing LBW JT Angus bulls. All of the bulls used are sons or Millah Murrah Paratrooper or Hector. A copy of their pedigrees is attached to the assessment. These heifers were purchased from southern Blue Ribbon and feature store sales in Autumn and are showing all the right attributes to grow into fertile breeders of the future. These heifers have a tight 42 day joining to commence calving on the 8th of February. Low stress stock handling is practiced on farm and the benefits can be seen in these heifers, they're extremely quiet and a pleasure to work with. A lot of effort and care has gone into preparing these heifers for calving. Please note, Mopoke Cattle co (formerly Shannon Partnership) has another lot of 76 PTIC heifers offered in the sale presenting the rare opportunity to put together 126 heifers. Heifers are to be sold as a run out the gate.
