Cattle handled well through yards and stood quietly on scales and in crush. Broken in to dogs. Odd heifer was a bit flighty but not mad. Quickly settled when back in the mob.

Assessor Comments
40 x Angus Heifers PTIC for their 2nd Calf. Vendor bred heifers that are being sold as the vendor has sufficient numbers and has culled heavily through his breeders. All calved last year as maiden heifers. Joined to Dunoon & Scotts Angus Bulls. Heifers are on a rising plain of nutrition after a tougher summer/autumn period. Please note that there are around 5 of these heifers with old pinkeye scarring in one or two eyes, also there were 23 heifers noted at assessment with white underneath, mostly on the udders. Two heifers have white birthmarks, 1 on shoulder, 1 on rear leg - see photos. Heifers were joined for 55 days and at Preg Testing the later calving heifers have been identified by the Vet & removed and are offered as a separate lot of 8 head in this sale. Vendor also has another 29 x PTIC 1st Calvers this sale.
