Cattle were a pleasure to handle. Odd cow got excited in crush but settled back into mob quickly. Odd cow became runny in yards when alone and under pressure. Overall, easy to assess and work through yards.

A good quality run of Station-mated Angus cows doing an excellent job on their calves. 2.2-3.2 years presenting in forward store condition due to putting everything into sappy, 120kg marked calves (only 7 calves under 100kgs). Cluden Newry Angus blood, rejoined to the high indexing Rennylea Angus bull for 7 weeks to be removed at delivery for an Aug/Sept calf. These cows were to be retained but due to a change in focus and agistment country running out, have come on to the market. Cows have had sheep running under them through the Monaro winter and would put on weight rapidly once calves are weaned off after Christmas. Cows expected to be 650kgs+ once fat. Vendor has 5 lots in same sale. Ideal addition to any Angus enterprise or to fatten, preg test and trade. Cow are just losing their winter coat and are starting to shine up.
