Quiet cows to handle through the yards. 2 were a bit annoyed when taken away from the calf but fine once back with them.

43 Angus cows and calves that were purchased from the neighbour as PTIC second calvers. The neighbour purchased them as 200kg hfrs out of the New Engalnd region, joined them and calved them down as hfrs. They are a typical Arimdale (NSW) medium frame cow, fat they would be around 580kg. The calves look great, there is plenty of effort going into them. They have been running on a lease block and the feed is pretty average, they will stay on the home block now til delivery which is a lot better feed. There is one late born calf which is only 2 weeks old, if they are going to travel some distance the vendor is happy to leave them there for a couple more weeks for the late calf to mature a bit. Good productive Cows with all the hard work done.
