An odd cow got a little agitated when being mouthed and on scales but quickly settled once back in the mob. Cattle were easy to handle, had a little bit of run in the yards but had only been yarded and settled down as the assessment process went on.

48 PTIC Angus Females that originate from a noted district Spring calving herd but due to a bull breakdown were rejoined for an autumn calving. Large frame 5 Year Old cows that present in forward to prime condition. There was 1 cow noted at assessment with a blue eye on the offside with no sight. 10 Cows noted with white on udders or belly but none forward of the navel & 15 Cows have long toes on either front or back claws, see photos for worst example. Cows are sound in both the mouth & udders and still have some good solid breeding years left in them.
