Ashmore cows are rising 6th to 7th calvers, good Med/Lge to Large frame cows having their spring drop calves weaned during March 2022. (A run out of the gate from 79 cows in the line.) The cows are all vendor bred and the herd has been selected for frame, milking ability and growth rates, some cows may have a small % of shorthorn blood (some white bellies ) from the breeding program, however all cows are black. The cows were joined to the Granite Ridge Angus bulls and Newry Stn AI Angus bulls from the 1st November to the 20th December ready for calving in early August 2022. (Pregnancy tested by the Millicent / Kingston Vet Clinic). The cows are proven breeders and are from a well recognized and established breeding herd. The cows are in fresh store condition and will continue to improve with weight gain on good feed. Buyers can purchase vendor bred cows with confidence.
