A line of mixed age Angus cows with calves at foot. The cows are of mixed age, with the youngest being a four tooth, and the balance all good firm mouths. The photo is pretty typical of their teeth.
The calves are all sired by an Angus bull, Rickaby blood from Kingston. The bull has been running continuously with the mob up until 30th August. Three of the calves are showing a throwback from an earlier infusion of red Limflex. This particular mob of cows were included in the purchase of the property a couple of years ago, and are now being moved because they are out of sync with the overall breeding program. Some of the cows are showing signs of a touch of lice, and could probably do with another treatment. The bull calves will not be marked prior to sale, but all the calves will have ear tags. 13 heifer calves, 10 bull calves.
