Cows were generally good to handle. The odd cow did show a bit of run under pressure whilst drafting, one cow in particular was in constant movement. Most cows were ok in crush, but 6 head did not appreciate tight confines.

Offering PTIC Angus cows, presenting in principally forward store condition. Cattle are well bred with some bloodlines represented being Wattletop, Te Mania & Banquet and were acquired as PTIC last year as part of foundation herd for property. All cows have previously calved, although a couple of head may not have reared a calf this year. Cows have been PTIC to Rennylea Angus & Hicks Black bulls with majority anticipated to calve from early October for 6 weeks with around 10% possibly calving earlier (NOTE: cows had access to bulls from 20/11 to 12/2, with around 90% of this draft preg tested by vet to be the later calvers). With a further two drafts on offer, represents a chance to acquire well bred PTIC Angus cows to calve down late spring. (NOTE: Vendor offers 84 PTIC Angus cows over three drafts)
