A VERY GOOD QUALITY LINE OF GILMANDYKE, MILLWILLAH, AND CHOICE ANGUS BLOOD COWS, WITH CALVES AT FOOT, INCLUDING 1 SET OF TWINS, THAT HAVE BEEN SIRED BY THE YAMBA ANGUS BULL. THESE COWS WERE PURCHASED OUT OF THE MOLONG DISTRICT IN MARCH AS PTIC COWS. THEY HAVE BEEN CALVED OUT AND ARE NOW BEING REOFFERED WITH VERY GOOD CALVES AT FOOT. THESE MEDIUM TO LARGE FRAMED COWS WERE VERY QUIET TO HANDLE THROUGH THE ASSESSMENT. THEY DRIFTED OFF THEIR CALVES EASILY, AND WERE RELAXED MOVING THROUGH THE RACE AND CRUSH. THE CALVES ARE VERY EVEN, 20 CALVES ARE WITHIN A 50KG WEIGHT RANGE, HAVING DROPPED IN A 6 WEEK CALVING WINDOW. 1 COW WAS NOTED WITH A BLUE SPOT IN THE EYE, DEEMED NOT DETRIMENTAL. 8 COWS HAVE WHITE ON THE UDDER, ALL WITHIN BREED STANDARD.
