Heifer were a pleasure to assess in wet and average yards. Odd heifer was excited in crush and exited quickly but settled back into mob well. As a mob heifers moved quickly when pressure was applied but were happy to stand and move closer for photos.

Assessor Comments
28 PTIC Angus heifers. Heifers have only been running on native country and would respond well to crop or fresh, green feed. Heifers present in forward condition and would be expected to be 450kgs+ by the time they calve if given the opportunity. Heifers were purchased locally and type and conformation was at the top of the list when selecting. Joined to LBW Hazeldean bulls, these heifers would be a welcome addition to any Angus enterprise or someone starting out. Could also be calved down and traded if desired. Joined for a short 6 weeks to calve beginning Oct. Offered with plenty of time left to put some weight on them prior to calving.
