During the day of assessment we experienced extremely bad weather conditions, resulting in the cattle yards being significantly wet and slippery on a concrete base. It is evident that there were a large % of these heifers being quite flighty within the yards during drafting/weighing.
I did return to the property two days later to take photos within the paddock and I stress to you how differently these animals behaved as they were quite inquisitive of my vehicle and were substantially quieter.

Lithgow Pastoral Company of Swanpool Vic offer a fantastic opportunity to purchase genuine vendor bred PTIC heifers with a power load of genetics running through their veins. As stated in my assessment these females were retained after their initial spring joining period due to significant bull break downs and then successfully joined at a later date. This particular draft represents the No. 3s of the whole 95 head consignment and in my humble opinion they are an extremely even selection of females to offer. Being EU accredited & Vendor bred gives you full confidence you are purchasing quality females that will be a terrific addition to an existing Angus herd or a fantastic base for a new program. I personally feel you should not be deterred by the temperament as I am confident with a little bit of handling they will be fantastic matrons. Note; There are small % of these heifers with old pinkeye scarring, not detrimental & 1 x heifer with significant white from her udder to her navel.
