Cows were easy to handle through the yards. Brought up from the back yards easily, and just kept leading through the yards sensibly, looking for the next open gate. All led up the race well and walked on to the scales with minimal hesitation. A few cows were displaying some anxious behaviour in the crush, after their last visit was to be preg tested. Listed above as slightly stirry.

Absolute cracking line of big matrons. Stacks of bone, plenty of depth & big long bodies that filled the whole crush. Pure Te Mania blood breeders. Initially intended to keep these females, only for sale due to a change in operation. Vendor has had 2 lots of calves off these females now, each time retaining a large percentage of quality heifer calves as future breeders. A.I'd in calf to Te Mania Q1179, with a mop up Te Mania Bull put in a fortnight after A.Iing. These are a cracking lot of quality females to take on and increase herd numbers. Re-preg tested on Wednesday for buyer confidence. Buyers please Note. 12 females presented with a splash of white on the flank, 2 of those had white forward of the navel. Please see photos & video.
