The Bowmans Forest cattle are highly sort after in Northeast Victoria with their steer weaners being a feature draft in the Annual Gordon Sinclair Memorial Weaner Sale in Wangaratta. The very best of the Alpine Angus and Welcome Swallow sires have been infused in the cow herd over the past 20 years, with bulls regularly being purchased between $10,000 to $30,000. Heifers are sired by Sons of A241 Regent, Blackjack and Jackpot to name a few. These gentle mannered young matrons themselves are displaying the quality of the breeding program with strong emphasis on fertility, structural integrity and longevity making them an ideal asset to be added to or become the foundation of a strong breeding program. The heifers themselves are on a rising nutritional plain, putting them in the ideal situation to be joined. All calves were born unassisted and are very even in age, weight and type. Please note 1 heifer does display some excess white forward of her udder & 1 with recovering ringworm.
