EASY HANDLING, QUIET CATTLE. AT NO TIME DID I FEEL THREATENED BY THEIR PRESENCE, ESPECIALLY WHEN I WAS MOVING BETWEEN THE COWS AND THEIR CALVES.

A SMALL LINE OF MIXED AGED POLL HEREFORD COWS AND CALVES. COWS PRESENT IN VERY FRESH FORWARD STORE TO FORWARD CONDITION. DEEP BODIED WITH A GOOD SQUARE FRAME AND STANDING ON GOOD BONE. COVER IS GOOD OVER ALL MEASUREMENT POINTS. COAT IS A DEEP RICH RED WITH THE FACE BEING A CLEAN OPEN WHITE. COWS ARE SOUND IN EVERY REGARD BUT I DID OBSERVE ONE COW WITH A CRACK THROUGH THE LEFT REAR HOOF....NOTHING DENTRIMENTAL AND DEFINITELY NOT LAME. ONE COW DOES HAVE HORN BUT SHE IS ON HER FIRST CALF. CALVES ARE ONLY YOUNG AND ARE FRESH AND SAPPY. ALL CALVES ARE STEERS AND ARE UNMARKED. CALVES ARE SOFT AND WILL POWER AHEAD WITH AGE AND ARE NOTED DOERS BASED ON THE SOLID GENETICS BEHIND THEM. A GREAT LITTLE MOB FOR THE SMALLER PRODUCER OR ALTERNATIVELY WOULD BE SUITABLE AS A TOP UP JOB. GOOD HONEST POLL HEREFORD COWS AND CALVES, BEAUTIFUL TEMPERAMENT AND DOING A GREAT JOB ON THE FRESH CALVES.
