On offer is a top-quality line of 2017 & 2016 drop EU accredited Angus PTIC cows on account of JA Crawford “Galimbang”. These Angus females are PTIC for a tight 3 week joining to commence calving mid September to early October 2021. Cows are joined to high indexing Scotts Angus sires (please see attached Bull EVB’s) They are fertile & productive females. Females on offer had weaners taken off at time of the assessment and had done an excellent job raising their calves (Ref Photo). The “Galimbang” herd is a top-quality EU accredited Angus herd, that prides itself on breeding angus cattle to target feeder markets. With a focus on 400d/600d growth, IMF & fertility.
These females are classed in retained females with the original plan to be used within the Galimbang herd. Due to later calving, cows not suited to vendor’s program and are being offered to the market.
Cows were PTIC by Shane Thomson (Holbrook Vet Centre) on the 4/2/21.
NB: 1 cow noted with cloudy eye & 1 with a long toe, NCD
