A QUALITY LINE OF VENDOR BRED CONNAMARA BLOOD ANGUS HEIFERS. STRATH RURAL HAVE BEEN A SELF REPLACING HERD USING CONNAMARA BULLS FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS. ALL HEIFERS HAVE PREVIOUSLY CALVED FOR AN AUTUMN JOINING BUT WERE THEN PREG TESTED EMPTY DUE TO A BULL BREAK DOWN, HEIFERS WERE THEN RE-JOINED FOR A SPRING CALVING. HEIFERS WERE JOINED FOR A TIGHT 6 WEEKS AND ARE DUE TO COMMENCE CALVING EARLY AUGUST. HEIFERS WHERE A PLEASURE TO HANDLE THROUGHOUT THE ASSESSMENT DISPLAYING A QUIET TEMPERAMENT. PLEASE NOTE THERE WERE 2 HEIFERS WITH A SPLASH OF WHITE ON THEIR UDDERS AND 2 HEIFERS WITH LIGHT OLD PINK EYE SCARRING.
