Extensively handled young females. Come when called in the paddock. Walked up to the yards with no problem and yarded themselves. All walked through the race quietly, 2 displaying some stubbornness since being Preg tested a fortnight ago. One heifer was quiet unsettled throughout assessment. rushing through the race and stomping on the scales. Listed above as slightly stirry. Overall, very quiet cattle that could be handled by a less experienced stock person.

The Austin family have been breeding and showing Santa Gertrudis cattle for over 20 years with a focus on producing a traditional style breeder with excellent maternal instincts and high birthing ease. Often selling stud sires to repeat clients for their easy calving & Low birth weight traits. Although not registerable due to a loss of paperwork during Covid lockdowns, these females are all bred from stud stock on both their Dam & Sire's side & are an excellent example of their breed, all being long, soft bodies females carrying distinctive Santa Gertrudis traits. PTIC to Balagold sire (Pictured) from 2 to 3.5 months as listed on Preg test certificate. Very quiet to handle in and around the yards, these females would make an excellent addition to any existing herd, or are quiet enough for a hobby farmer partial to the Santa breed who's wanting a few nice females. Note. Vendor is willing to transport cattle to Ballarat Saleyards to assist with delivery. Please see photos & video.
