Bulls are well handled and work well through home yards during the assessment process This bull became slightly unsettled when isolated and confined in crush but resettled as soon as he was released. Bulls remained settled during photos and videos.

"Licker" is a 31 month old Grey Brahman bull that weighed 646kg full at the time of assessment. All bulls have been vet checked and semen tested. The Brown family have been in the commercial Brahman industry for over 40 years, originally in the Hughenden district they ran approximately 1500 - 1800 Brahman breeders turning off Jap ox at 2 yrs of age. They ran a small stud herd, purchasing purebred registered Brahman bulls out of Rockhampton Brahman Week sale that they in turn bred their own bulls from for the commercial breeders. Vendor comments;1003 ( licker ) so named as when he was a calf he would lick the kids from head to toe out in the paddock. A taller bull with good black points, showing good length, depth and hindquarter. A bull that walks out well and will cover a lot of country. Licker has good tidy sheath. Please note; Vendor will offer a total of 4 bulls in this sale.

We are very proud of Donor Jean P303 – the mother ship. Jean B21’s progeny directly shows the power and consistency of our cow lines here with 9 lots represented. P303 has been a very successful donor for us and is a prolific egg producer, averaging over nine eggs per flush conventional. Her eleven sons that have gone through the sale have consistently featured in our top pens. P303 is the most impressive cow in the flesh showing phenomenal capacity, consistent with Premier Guardian and the renowned Premier Jestress H66 cow in her paternal pedigree. Her eggs raised $5050 each by Rob and Tania Jarret in 2022 at the Molong Flood Charity Auction and we raised over $20,000 for flood victims in all. Her current bull calf by Rambo is an absolute ripper. Her maternal aunt is Lot 4, with both her and P303’s dam out of G117, sister to D71 who is the dam of H215.
