Very placid natured female - Typical of the Araluen Angus Herd. Walked her around in the holding yard for photos/videos - no hassles. Walked her in to the yard on foot, no bikes required. Led up the race and stood very quietly on the scales without any dramas or nonsense. A credit to the Simpson family on years of selectively breeding for temperament, along with calm, correct education.

Araluen Angus Stud was developed some 30 years ago, with a goal in mind of producing calm, correct, high growthing cattle. They have cemented a name for themselves throughout the North East, particularly for producing highly sought after, sale topping, Autumn drop future breeders, often being purchased by repeat buyers for their fertility, temperament & soft, easy doing style.
Araluen Q8 is by Ascot Lion Heart L305, and is bred up from the in-house stud herd. She is a long, deep style cow with an exceptional nature, And is PTIC to Araluen T113 Bull, with an expected calving date of March 28th (Based of Fetal Scanning)
Araluen is only reducing numbers this year after an enormous result in the young stock Preg Testing, making some of the more prevalent bloodlines surplus to needs.
