Heifers handled well throughout the assessment process. Heifers flowed through backyards, force & weigh station efficiently. 2 heifers were noted to become agitated in weigh station exiting with haste, settling when united with mob.

Heifers present in forward store to fresh condition, heifers are cleaned up in their coats & are improving in condition with the improvement in seasonal growth.
Heifers were subject to a 12 hour curfew prior to assessment.
Sale of heifers presents an opportunity to purchase a line of 1 mark young breeding females Preg tested in calf to Ben Nevis Angus Bulls. Heifers are considered suitable as replacement breeders in most commercial Angus Operations.
