Great to handle in the yards with only one heifer slightly upset on the weigh platform. These cattle could easily be handled by novice cattle people, educated cattle with a great nature.

Very good quality group of future breeders carrying a base of Sprys Shorthorn bloodlines with recent infusion of Bayview & Belmore bloodlines and PTIC to a proven low birth Hicks Red Angus bull to commence calving early July (Depastured 23rd September for 8 weeks). These heifers were purchased direct off the breeder Toogimbie Shorthorns at Deniliquin and were a pleasure to handle in the yards, a testament to being properly weaned and properly handled throughout their life. There are 6 Roan coloured and 4 solid red heifers in this group, with heifers displaying plenty of length and carcase profile. Given the opportunity, these 16-17 month old heifers have the potential to develop in to excellent future breeders with volume, milking ability, bone and shape to complement either an existing herd or starter herd. Noted one heifer with a small old pinkeye scar.
