Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows were very well behaved throughout assessment. Especially having been through the yards on a few occasions recently - the most recent being for preg testing. Despite this invasive experience, they were easy to handle and very amicable going back up the race and onto the scales. Very quiet to share the

Assessor Comments
Nice line of vendor bred, pure Rennylea Angus Blood Cows. Young Cows that have done it tough over the trying seasonal conditions of 2024, with 4 of them rearing their first calf, and having not long had those calves weaned off them and still in the process of bouncing back. Despite this, they all did a super job and produced a good healthy 2024 drop calf. Only offered for sale now, due a management decision to cut back the breeding stock by only retaining the first 2 cycles in the herd. This small lot of proven ‘prime of their life’ breeders would be ideal to top up numbers of another pure Rennylea based herd or use as the foundations breeders of a new herd.

PICK OF 3 FULL FLUSH HEIFERS
Palgrove Charolais
· Flush · Charolais · Sire: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · Dam: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · PK25W83E, PK25W44E, PK25W53E (Pick of 3 flush sisters) True to our word, when we release females of this calibre it’s a genuine opportunity to secure the very best our program has to offer — something we don’t do more than twice in a decade. These three full flush sisters, all from one of our elite donor females, represent a rare chance for new or established stud breeders to invest in a future donor female with enormous upside. We couldn’t split them, so the choice is yours — and what a statement they would make at the World Congress in Brisbane this August. They are out of a proven donor female and sired by Rockerfella, who sold to the Ascot Stud for $100,000 in 2022. His first sons featured in last year’s sale, with 20 sons selling to average $20,737, underlining the consistency and demand for this sire line. They also have a full flush brother from the same program who is something truly special. If we don’t retain him, he will feature as a highlight bull in the yearling section of our September sale. Their dam has an outstanding production record, with 20 recorded progeny before the age of five, returning over $100,000 in her first year of sales from just five progeny. This included Ultrahot, who sold to Futurity Charolais for $40,000, and another daughter who sold to Black Duck Charolais for $18,000 as a 10-month-old heifer, who has since entered their donor program. The granddam is also a prominent donor with progeny reaching $36,000. A further first-calf Landmark daughter retained in our herd and full sister to Ultrahot ($40,000) was flushed this year, producing 14 eggs, reinforcing the exceptional fertility and consistency of this female line. You take the choice — and ‘Make your Mark’ on the Charolais breed.
