Assessor Comments
South Killanoola are a very highly regarded operation in the lower south east of SA. There is a large emphasis on producing calves that have structure, scale, fat cover, growth and are quiet in temperament. Much effort is placed on sire selection & if the bulls don't tick the box, they are not purchased. This has lead to a very even cow herd, that produces quality female replacements as well as steer weaners that are much sought after by grass finishers in the December / January selling season. This line of 2016-17 drop cows, show all the traits of a quality herd. They are in fresh forward condition leading into calving. They exhibit bone, length & depth of body, very soft skins all on good strong legs & feet. PTIC to Sterita Park & Stoney Point sires, they have been preg tested again for the second time to give the purchaser 100% confidence in their purchase. A very neat line of EU Acc middle age breeders. SK have 6 lines in total in this sale.
