Exceptional line of Rennylea blood PTIC Angus heifers, to begin calving mid July for 6 weeks. From an outstanding herd, they are in calf to RENNYLEA S1481 - a top shelf heifer bull with EBVs in the top 10% for; BWT (+1.2), calving ease DIR (+8.1) and gestation length (-8.8) as well as top 1% for IMF and top 10% for the indexes (link attached). The Skinners are very passionate Angus breeders and have been using AI throughout the herd for the past 7 years and Heifers Select (genomics) the last 3 years to turbo charge genetic gain. The Skinners have won multiple awards in the last year, recently winning the Riverine Premium Beef pen and coming 1st for Eating Quality at the 2023 Beef Spectacular Feedlot trial. These heifers that would suit the most discerning Angus breeder or make a great foundation for someone looking to get into breeding. Please note; vendor has a another lot of 16 later calving PTIC heifers in this sale.
