Assessor Comments
A nice line of one-mark, good-framed, first calf units. These heifers have been sired by Angus bulls over Blue-E cows, with this line representing the red & roan coats in the draft. Heifers present in fresh store to forward condition & are well grown, with very quiet temperaments. The quality in the calves at foot is clearly evident, being sired by an Angus son of CLUNIE RANGE QUEENSLANDER Q311. They are showing very good carcass shape & are thriving from the abundant milk their mothers are producing. A great opportunity to secure a quality line of classed-in breeders, with a lifetime of production ahead of them. Vendor has another line of 12 x 12 top quality first calvers, (black & blue coloured sisters out of the draft) also offered in this sale. #PLEASE NOTE# Originally a line of 14 x14 at assessment & when photographed, however 2 heifers died of bloat the next day, & their calves (both black) were removed. Weights were adjusted by 2 at the average of the mob.
