The heifers and calves were a pleasure to handle at assessment. A few heifers got agitated when mouthed but all stood on the scales to be weighed and didn't rush out of the crush.

Presenting a nice line of Baldy heifers with their first calf at foot and PTIC back to good quality Angus sires. 3 in 1 units with big sappy calves on them which explains the lighter condition of the mothers. These heifers were all pregnant except 1 with the youngest calf. 11 blue tags. The vet commenting on certificate the majority are between 12 and 18 weeks ( 1 red tag) averaging 14-15 weeks. The heifers are doing a great job on the calves and the season has helped. The cattle had a big lock up prior to assessment due to mothering and preg testing the day before. There is 1 red calf and approx 2 other calves showing some Bos cross. NOTE: Another lot of 34 C&C same property, same mark and ages in this sale would make a nice B Double. These young cows were depastured with good quality Angus bulls in a short joining window. Young breeders to take advantage of a bright cattle future.
