22% light to backward store condition, 78% strong to forward store. Pastoral bred robust & hardy cows in strong condition & on a suitable feed ration. These cows have been mustered & in hand for 3 days on property then travelled in excess of 920km to spell 2 days & assessed. Trucked in at 10 x 10 a pen without incident or loss & I would recommended the purchaser consider more room for a longer distance, feeding and electrolytes prior to trucking. - .

Pastoral bred cows that were easy to handle throughout the yards, race & crush requiring normal steadying & respect in each aspect of preg testing, drafting & weighing. Cows that move freely yet settle well in the mob. If isolated or unduely provoked some cows showed eagerness to move however with sensible handling there were no signs of dangerous aggression.

Santa & Santa cross pastoral bred cows 1.5-11 years with calves at foot by Dangerfield Santa Gertrudis bulls. Predominantly good medium to larger frame cows in store condition with the smaller frame relative to age. The Marqua cows are the Atkins Cattle Co breeding herd supplying progeny into a family operated feedlot operation with significant industry acclaimed slaughter data and leading performance results. Assessed in the Longreach WQLX Transit Facility the cows have been in hand 2 days to this point and are moving ahead , well hydrated and offer a good opportunity to secure fertile proven breeders with strong progeny data and Santa Gertrduis genetics. 2 dog bites, 8 capped hips, 1 tennis ball lump on jaw , 1 twisted nose cow & 3 calves with minor ringworm - to make allowance for in your bidding calculation. Annual treated for lice, botulism & lepto. Mothered on station using horses to the best of their ability- mothering large numbers pastoral cows & calves is difficult.
