These heifers generally moved well around the yards, flowing well around corners occasionally needing steadying through gates. A small percentage of heifers became agitated in the crush during weighing but settled down quickly once released. There is one heifer that was noticeably unsteady in the mob while photos were being taken for the purpose of this assessment however nothing that could be described as aggressive.

Offering 121 predominately medium framed Brahman Cross Heifers. These heifers weighed between 310 - 446 kg, to an average of 357 at assessment, after at least 12 hours off feed and water. The mob is made up of vendor bred and bought heifers suitable to retain as future breeders or to finish off for export or domestic markets. Heifers are branded #2, #1 & #0. All #1 and older heifers were mouthed (5 head had 4 teeth, 6 head had 2 teeth and the remainder having milk teeth). Please note the brands on 16 heifers were unidentifiable, these 16 were all mouthed, and results included in the numbers. The mob generally has a good temperament, with only the odd one becoming agitated during the assessment process. There were 4 head showing fly bite scarring, refer to photos.
