A good line of D/master, D/master cross cows with calves at foot. Mixed age cows-89 age brands read, 68hd (76%) 3-8 years, bal. 9-13 years. Mouthed 2 x 12 yr cows- broken mouth, mouthed 2 x 10yr cows-sound. Majority of cows bred at vendors Quilpie properties-Cowley and Whynot. Cows include 14 selected cows which were used in bull breeding operation (Glen Fosslyn and Glenlands blood) at Welltown, Goondiwindi. 25 calves weighed to average 103kgs-low weight 48kgs, high 148kgs. Calves show very good type. NOTE: 2 calves swollen navel (photo attached), & approx 6 other calves have small navel swelling. 1 calf observed with fresh pink eye. Calves are unbranded/unmarked but NLIS tagged. Cows generally large framed with very good bone. Progeny from these cows always keenly sought after. Sale of genuine breeders only due to sale of property. Very good cows and calves to commence breeding operation or take through to fatten and split.
