Assessor Comments
A small but quality line of Angus heifers PTIC to Hazeldean Angus bull on 1st and 2nd calf. 4 heifers have had a calf and 9 lining up for their 1st calf. There is 1 Baldy heifer in the mob which is optional to successful purchaser. Two heifers old small eye scar. These heifers are only being sold as they had to be rejoined after it was discovered a bull was defective which put them out of sync with main line. Depastured with a calving ease Hazeldean bull they should suit most particular Angus breeders. They weighed 648kg average after 2 hrs in yards. They were given a 7 in one at assessment. Although treated with Cydectin Platinum 5 weeks ago, heifers still show effects of rubbing and may benefit from follow up treatment. They were good to handle in the yards. Bull was in for a tight 7 week joining. The heifers are forward to fat as a result of the excellent season. Purchasers may need to be flexible with delivery as the smallest of rain events can cause delays on roads in the district.
