Assessor Comments
A neat body truck load of genuine second calf cows with exceptionally good Angus & Limousine calves at foot. Rejoined to a Brangus bull for the last 6 weeks I’d expect most of these proven breeders to be 3 in 1 articles. The cows can be described as predominantly medium frame, & I noted at assessment 3 to be large frame & 3 small frame with the remaining 7 as medium framed breeders. There was one cow with old blight scarring & 1 heifer calf with old blight scarring. There’s 4 brands in this lot however all very similar types, & true to breed description. Hips, udders, legs & jaws are all sound. The Angus calves are by an Elton Angus bull & the one steer calf is by the vendors Black Limo bull. The calves averaged 183kg at assessment & are proof these young cows can do the job very well. The cows will have their flu tags removed prior to delivery. A great opportunity to top up a paddock or start a breeder program with this line of proven breeders. I Highly recommended these breeders

Good herd of cows to start with or top up a paddock with, and they’re real good mothers.

No, this lot was not pregnancy tested.

This herd has had access to the Brangus bull for the last 6 weeks. By the size of the calves and the fresh feed I’d presume a good rejoining.
