All cows were very quiet and cooperative to handle through the race and crush, however 1 cow was very protective of her calf to the point of being aggressive. She was fine to handle while away from her calf.

A very good quality line of vendor bred, Dunoon, and Boorugal blood Angus cows with calves at foot.. These CFA cows are doing a great job on their calves and with the continuing soft season, these cows should have no trouble taking the calf through to weaning, with processing opportunities beyond that. These cows were very quiet to handle, with the exception of 1 cow, who was very protective of her calf. The calf was drafted of for the assessment process and , once away from her calf , the cow was no trouble to handle, moving through the yards and standing in the crush quietly.
