Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Young females that were very well behaved in the yards & crush. Drafting off the calves without hassles, leading up the race sensibly and standing quietly on the scales. A few were a bit more fractious in the larger holding paddock when walking around on foot for photos - just a bit suspicious & anxious, having a bigger flight zone, the same cattle were quiet as lambs in the yards, so just needing a bit more time spent with them in the paddock.

Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of Mountain bred Heifers and calves. Boasting years of Newcomen & Mawarra Hereford genetics, with the Alpine Angus calves at foot to appreciate the Hybrid benefits & keep up with market demand. No expense is spared when selecting Bulls with desired traits, often purchasing the highest priced Bull at sale. Maree’s herd is well known throughout the North Eastern district, with a reputation for exceptional growth for age & yield potential, & repeatedly producing sale topping weaners, with the steers being highly sought after by repeat buyers, & often being purchased by in-house bullock fatteners. These females are an excellent example of Maree’s cattle, This line of young Heifers and calves come with the agents highest recommendation.
