Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Assessed 4 days after preg-testing. Heifers had melted in that time and showed minimal fat cover however will quickly regain cover on quality pasture now. Fit and healthy with ample energy. No concerns trucking long distances.

Generally good to handle, heifers are typical of northern bred Brahmans and as such have a slightly larger pressure bubble. Small percentage of heifers stirred up under pressure or when singled out of the mob. No heifers considered aggressive and the mob handled easily through larger yards and when in groups.

5 decks of good quality trade heifers that are PTIC by vet being 65 over 4 months pregnant and 75 under 4 months pregnant.
Unknown bull genetics with vendors not noting any access to bulls or stags, best assumption is that they are in calf to Neighboring Rhondel Droughtmaster bulls and possibly Brahman bulls for heavier pregnants.
Predominately milk tooth heifers with 20% cracking 2 tooth at assessment.
Heifers handled well through the yards at assessment with a small percentage of heifers becoming agitated when singled out or under large amounts of pressure.
Heifers predominately 2 x brands and purchased last year out of Cloncurry and Hughenden districts. ideally suited as trade heifers with majority of heifers still being suitable as replacement breeders.
1 x heifer noted with a small dogbite on her and one 1 x heifer being a weaner mother still showing milk.
