CATTLE WERE MAINLY GOOD TO HANDLE AT ASSESSMENT, ALTHOUGH BEING BOS INDICUS X THIS MOB IF PRESSURED IN THE PADDOCK OR YARDS WILL GET AGITATED. IF YOU DON'T RUSH THESE CATTLE AND MAKE UNNECESSARY NOISE, I FOUND THEM OKAY TO HANDLE. WITH REGULAR HANDLING I WOULD THINK THEY MAY QUIETEN DOWN A BIT MORE.

A LINE OF CROSS BRED STATION MATED COWS AND CALVES, PRESENTING IN MAJORITY STORE TO THE LEAD FRESH STORE CONDITION. THE COWS RANGE FROM A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF SMALLER FRAMES, TO THE ODD LEAD COW LARGE FRAME, WITH MAJORITY BEING MEDIUM FRAME FEMALES. THEY ARE DOING A VERY GOOD JOB ON THEIR CALVES. THE CALVES ARE BY CHAROLAIS AND ANGUS BULLS, UNMARKED APPROX 1-3 MONTHS OF AGE AND SHOWING A LOT OF HYBRID VIGOUR. THERE IS THE ODD YOUNGER FRESH CALF IN THE MOB. THE COWS WERE REJOINED TO ANGUS BULLS SIX WEEKS PRIOR TO ASSESSMENT. A GOOD TRADE OPPORTUNITY, CHECK THE VIDEO OF THE CALVES. THE COWS ARE IN A HOLDING YARD AND WILL BE FED HAY UNTIL DELIVERY. NOTE 144 COWS & 119 CALVES.
